Royal Air Force Museum Midlands的点评
点评：There are a lot of planes, engines, bombs and vehicles on display both inside and outside (mainly planes). The museum is free to visit and car parking £6.50 if you pay online.bUpon entering, your barcode if you paid online, is checked and a very helpful museum attendant gives you a brief summary of the place to explore.
We enjoyed the planes, descriptions, history of people involved in the wars and Museum staff were on hand to answer questions. There was also a cafe to get a drink and bite to eat.
What let it down was:
-Some planes were crammed in too close, so you could not observe them in full or tell where they started and ended.
-Not all planes had the correct information board nearby.
- We didn't really like the small models, they overshadowed the genuine planes and would have been better kept separate.
-The amount of school children running wild and shouting (shame on the school that visited with them today, 7th May, as they did nothing to keep them under control). Whilst this is not a direct fault of the museum, there should be some advice provided for group bookings on expectations and not to treat it as a playground - there was a playground outside for them, after all we are all there to enjoy it.
- Whilst we were told some of the cold war exhibit was closed, which was fine, Hanger 1 was not open either.
