Beautiful Burton Agnes, what a special place :)
Burton Agnes Hall的点评
点评：This is one of the nicest stately homes/mansions we have been to. Very reasonably priced to get in to the Hall and Gardens and so much to see. Its a beautiful home with some lovely paintings, furniture and the Hall itself has such a homely feel to it. It is beautifully kept, the brasswork and crystal chandeliers are sparkling (what's the secret! :D as I can't get ours anywhere near this clean!)
The gardens are absolutely stunning and the Walled Garden created by Susan Cunliffe-Lister is incredible. It was so lovely to see so many different blooms and the vegetables too, I came away with lots of ideas. Also wonderful to see so many gorgeous butterflies fluttering around, I haven't seen butterflies in this number since the 1970's and what a sight to see. A haven for nature! We could have spent hours here.
The cafe is lovely too, reasonably priced, I opted for a rather scrummy mozzarella cheese salad and husband had a very large fruit scone with cream and jam - yum! There is also the opportunity to purchase vegetables from the garden and we bought a massive courgette which we had for supper that evening, roasted. Delicious and a bargain at £1. No supermarket chain veg here!
Of special mention are the fantastic volunteers who were so helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We would like to thank the lovely lady in the Long Gallery who we had a long natter with, she was absolutely charming.
We can highly recommend visiting this lovely family home and we will most definitely be back, would love to try the Jazz Evening. Thank you to all the Burton Agnes team :)

咖啡馆也很不错，价格也合理。我选了一份相当美味的马苏里拉奶酪沙拉，而丈夫则吃了一个配着奶油和果酱的巨大水果司康——真好吃！这里还可以购买自家菜园里种的蔬菜，我们买了一根超大号的西葫芦，当晚就把它烤着吃了。味道棒极了，而且只要1英镑，真是物超所值。这里可没有超市售卖的蔬菜哦！
特别要提一下那些出色的志愿者们，他们不仅乐于助人、热情友好，而且知识渊博。我们要感谢长廊上那位非常可爱的女士，我们与她畅谈了许久，她真的魅力非凡。
我们极力推荐大家来参观这座温馨的家庭宅邸，我们自己也一定会再来的，还希望能体验一下爵士之夜呢。感谢Burton Agnes团队的所有成员 ：）
