Very nice house and tea room

点评：This is a lovely house. It has plenty of parking, and the most lovely and helpful volunteers, from the lady at the entrance where you pay, to the lovely lady that opens the door when you knock.
The house is lovely. You can only go downstairs at the moment and 1 of the rooms was closed for refurbishment.
The house is full of the former owners art collection, so if old houses and art are your thing then this very much worth a visit.
The gardens looked lovely, but on a wet rainy day, we chose not to have a look on this occasion
We did have a trip to the cafe for tea /coffee and cake - and we would definitely recommend checking it out.
A particular shout out to the lovely Roger, 1 of the house volunteers who we spoke to just before leaving, and he was so enthusiastic and informative about the house and the art, and encouraged us to visit again later in the year.
Overall it was a lovely visit.
