Fabulous staff and a great narrow boat.

点评：We hired a narrow boat from Silsden Boats recently for a week’s holiday on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The stand out thing about the company was the staff who were so friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It started with a relaxing briefing on all aspects of the boat and its operation. We were invited to inspect the boat and its cleanliness before setting out. It was spotless. During the week we accidentally snapped one of the bridge operating keys and the drive out to meet us with a replacement within 15 minutes. They were a welcoming site when we returned the boat meeting us to take over a moor the boat in a difficult to get in position in the marina.
The boat was great and it never gave us a problem. It was well equipped and very easy to operate. It was as comfortable as possible given it was a narrow boat. There were 4 adults and a staffy on board and it was sometimes a squeeze moving around the boat.
It would recommend Silsden Boats if you are thinking of a holiday on this canal.
