点评：⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Outstanding Day at Duncarron! ⚔️🛡️
We spent the day at Duncarron Medieval Village for the Viking Hreidur Festival 2026, and wow, what an incredible experience! If you wanted a day fully immersed in all things Viking, this is exactly where you neeed to be.
From the second we arrived, it was clear just how incredibly well-organised the entire event was. Parking, entry, and navigating the village layout were smooth and stress-free, which isn't always easy for a festival this popular.
What really stood out to us was what a safe, relaxed, and genuinely family-friendly and dog friendly environment the organisers created. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and there was a brilliant balance of high-energy excitement and safe spaces for kids to explore.
Our highlights from the day were the traders stalls and market, packed with unique, authentic creations and brilliant artisans and we couldn't believe the range of items for sale on offer, amazing. The living history, watching the thrilling Viking battles and talking to the reenactors and volunteers who were so passionate and knowledgeable. The hands-on fun and having a go at archery and axe-throwing (the kids absolutely loved it, and the safety instruction was fantastic!).
The vibe was top-tier and the live music, storytelling, traditional entertainers, volunteers, staff and great food on-site kept everyone fueled up and wanting more.
Duncarron is an absolute hidden gem, and the team pulled off a flawless event. I have to truly thank you all for an outstanding day out, we will absolutely be back for the next one!

当天最精彩的部分莫过于琳琅满目的摊位和市集，那里摆满了独具匠心、原汁原味的工艺品，汇聚了众多才华横溢的工匠，商品种类之丰富令人难以置信，真是太棒了！还有生动的历史重现，观看了惊心动魄的维京战斗表演，并与热情博学的扮演者和志愿者们交流。孩子们也玩得不亦乐乎，体验了射箭和掷斧等趣味项目（孩子们玩得特别开心，安全讲解也做得非常到位！）。
现场气氛一流，精彩的现场音乐、故事讲述、传统艺人表演、志愿者和工作人员的热情服务，以及美味的食物，让每个人都精神饱满，意犹未尽。
邓卡伦真是一个隐藏的宝藏，团队完美地组织了一场活动。衷心感谢大家，让我们度过了如此美好的一天，下次我们一定会再来！
