Extremely disappointing ripoff
Avon Valley Railway (AVR)的点评
点评：Myself, husband and elderly parents bought tickets for the Fish and Chips dining experience at a cost of £180 (not including drinks.) We believed it was, according to the website description, going to be a first class dining experience while travelling through the Avon Valley admiring the beautiful scenery.
In reality it was travelling up and down the same small length of track with views of rusty old railway carriages and overgrown bushes and weeds…,,oh and we did get a glimpse of some hay bales in a field. The train only moved for a total of about 30mins, if that, and most of the time was sat stationery on the track back at the station or a very short distance from it looking at bushes! At the 3rd time of stopping at the station virtually every one of the passengers, including ourselves, decided to disembark and not endure another boring ride back up the same length of track.
Food was definitely not first class, the fish was ok but cooked in batter that was over cooked and so very hard. We were only given sachet condiments for 2 people ( 2 vinegar, 2 Tartar Sauce and 2 Ketchup) and virtually had to beg for enough for 4 of us. We were given a small slice of cheesecake for dessert, no cream or ice-cream, and tea or coffee. One thing that was first class though was the drinks prices.
This day out was a complete let down and I believe the description of the experience is totally misleading and false advertising. We certainly did not get what we were led to believe we were paying for. £180 for 4 x fish and chips, Cheesecake and a coffee is extortionate and a complete rip off. To top it off, one of the more mature waitresses was very disrespectful to my husband, always serving him last and then forgetting to serve him at all, without any apology.
It was so bad and very sad, because my very elderly parents (91 and 86) had been really looking forward to this experience as it was a Xmas gift.
Please do not waste your time and money.

这次外出体验令人大失所望，我认为体验描述完全是误导，是虚假宣传。我们得到的服务与宣传不符。四份炸鱼薯条、一块芝士蛋糕和一杯咖啡就要180英镑，简直是敲诈勒索。更糟糕的是，一位年纪较大的女服务员对我丈夫非常不尊重，总是最后才给他上菜，有时甚至完全忘记给他上菜，而且没有任何道歉。
这真是太糟糕、太令人难过了，因为我年迈的父母（91岁和86岁）一直很期待这次体验，因为这是他们收到的圣诞礼物。
请不要浪费您的时间和金钱。
