Overall a really excellent experience
布里斯托尔科技馆的点评
点评：We took our 9 and 11-year old granddaughters here and they absolutely loved it - a full 4 hours or more trying a large number of the exhibits and then half an hour in the Planetarium. There is a huge variety of interactive, hands-on, original, fun, very different, and informative things to do, and they enjoyed everything - and it was all working!
We had wondered if the 'Are there Aliens?' Planetarium show would be of little interest to our 9-year old, who's not particularly bothered about astronomical matters - but she loved it and totally entered into the various "Wave your hand to choose" options.
We were also impressed that the cafe and shop had quite reasonable prices - so often such places are ridiculously expensive. Overall it's not a cheap day out, but it was definitely value for money. And the whole place was kept scrupulously clean, with a guy conscientiously brushing and clearing up.
Of course nowhere is totally perfect and we had one or two caveats. Yes, it was half-term, but from 12-3pm the venue was in my opinion over-full - there was a wait for almost all activities, especially when doting parents let their offspring stay on them for far too long, or some adults seemed to think they should have a go whilst kids were waiting. I can see that the management want to make as much profit as possible, but I think too many were being let in and the numbers built up and up. By the way - a tip - after 3pm a lot of people were leaving and there was much more room.
The waiting area for the Planetarium needs to be improved. Spending 5 or 10 minutes either sitting on a hard metal bench or having to stand, all the time in the dark with nothing to look at, was a wasted opportunity.
And there need to be more tables and benches in the lunch area, as they quickly became full.
But overall this was a really outstanding experience, and our granddaughters were still excitedly talking about it the next morning.

天文馆的等候区需要改进。要么坐在硬邦邦的金属长椅上，要么站着，在黑暗中无所事事地等待5到10分钟，实在是浪费时间。
午餐区也需要增加桌椅，因为它们很快就坐满了。
但总的来说，这是一次非常棒的体验，第二天早上我们的孙女们还在兴奋地谈论这件事。
