A gem I wish I had tried before
弗莱彻莫斯公园和植物园的点评
点评：A place I have passed many times but not been till today and how I wish I had.
Bigger than expected with lots of paths and trees and some small ponds.
So many different birds and butterflies if you can spot them, but you can clearly hear them.
As I said there are many paths, but also a lot of steps around so be warned if you have walking difficulties.
On entry from Wilmslow road just a short walk from the town centre (don't confuse it with Didsbury Park which is on the opposite side) you pass the tennis courts just keep going, and you come to the gardens which are fantastic. Lots of benches scattered around among the trees and once through the gardens it takes you into open fields.
there's a café and visitors centre which I didn't try.
I really recommend anyone to at least try a visit to these gardens at least once I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The only problem I had was parking there are three car parks it seems, but I found them hard to find, and they seem to be along narrow roads, so I parked in the town centre and walked. It's free, but a charge is made for the tennis courts.
