Very worth the trip, as that's really unusual to see ruins of modernish grand houses

点评：We absolutely loved our visit to Witley Court. The ruins are stunning and full of history, making it easy to imagine how amazing the house was. The grounds are really well maintained, and the fountain display was particularly impressive (once an hour for about 20min, and given the lenght of time we stayed we saw it three times). We spent hours exploring and taking in the peaceful surroundings.
The information boards were informative and helped bring the site's fascinating history to life. What would be good would be to have a room in the entrance building that would show-case all the old photos (as only a few are shown throughout the ruin) to see even more how it used to be. Hopefully some day they'll add that.
A wonderful day out for anyone interested in history, architecture, or simply enjoying a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!
