Lion Lodge and Keeper Experience, absolutely breathtaking

点评：Lion Lodge and Keeper Experience
We had an accessible lodge which meant we could park our car outside which was brilliant as my husbands mobility isn’t good. But to be honest they transport you to your lodge anyway so it wouldn’t have been a problem. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
Every single member of staff we met during our stay was so friendly, hospitable and obviously passionate about the park and animals. I can’t speak highly enough about them.
We stayed in Kafue Lion Lodge which was stunning and perfect, the warm and soft lit lodge welcomed us in, not to mention the lions, majestically watching through the massive viewing window.
The view of the lions out of the 3 massive windows was phenomenal. Listening to them roar as well as them looking at us as much as we watched them walk past was truly breathtaking.
The food delivered to the lodge was delicious with a brilliant choice of beverages and even fresh milk in the fridge.
The evening in the Manor with the conservation talk and tasting menu was wonderful to be a part of, we really enjoyed it.
The keeper experience with both the lions and tigers was so informative and interactive.
The keepers were so knowledgeable and passionate about these cats, it was heartwarming to be a part of their day and helping,
Our VIP Guide Richard did an amazing job curating the whole keeper experiences and taking all the photos.
Richard was very mindful to my husbands restricted mobility needs. even getting a vehicle to transport us from the lions to the tigers which was very considerate of him. He made sure he was comfortable in the enclosures whilst also taking photos of us. We can’t thank him enough. In fact we can’t thank anyone enough you were all amazing and should give yourselves well deserved pats on the back.
I would say that whichever animal you prefer the lodges are fantastic with brilliant views so take your pick and enjoy.
