Lovely grounds, hopefully castle tours will come down in price in the future.

点评：This is my 4th Royal Residence i have been to. Unfortunately i didn't go inside. £110 to go inside the castle was quite the surprise to say the least. Luckily the outside and ballroom was a good price of around £30.
Well kept gardens and grass, combined with the spectacular ballroom with stag mantles across the walls, pictures of Queen Elizabeth II throughout her life and the diamond jubilee Royal Lochnagar diamond decanter at the end of the ballroom.
The Cafe is tidy, service is timely and the overall dining space is well presented. Toilets are also clean with mahogany toilet seats, as is the same at Sandringham Palace in Norfolk.
Im glad to see the squirrel trail is a good edition for kids and walkers alike, with the necessary edition of highland cows in a nearby field.
Its a shame the castle itself costs so much as I would've liked to have seen inside like Sandringham, Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. I recognise this is a favourite of the late Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royal family but £110 is a bit steep.
