点评:Again another visit to show my best friend of 40 years who's non British a slice of British heritage.
I don't know if I'm a tight Yorkshireman, but I thought it would have been free, but then when I found out it gets no funding from any government source, I thought fair enough.
An absolutely stunning building, we paid £52 for two of us, but! that included the tower, which is an optional extra, and the tickets are for 12 months, which is excellent, as I can get numerous visits with different friends, so that's a bargain really, two or three visits and its like a fiver a time. All the money goes to the running costs of nearly 33k a day.
Being honest I'm an atheist, but the feeling when you go in is that if there is a god this is where he lives. very atmospheric. some stunning windows and is in tip top condition.
Well worth a visit.
