Soul rejuvenating Valley of the Springs!

点评：The Monashee mountains are famous for crisp alpine air, healing waters and pristine landscapes which offer perfect conditions for vibrant hillside vineyards. After a wine tour in nearby Shuswaps and discovering beautiful Germanic varietals like Siegerrebe in lush fields it inspired Jody to pursue the grape life.
A veteran logger Jody Scott (Okanagan College) and his wonderful wife Brenda (Red Seal Chef, 4th generation resident, Sunset Ridge Bed & Breakfast) thought to transplant that dream to their picturesque property overlooking the Kuskanax River. Taking advantage of that mineral rich glacial soils Jody began planting cool climate focused varietals Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Auxerrois, Zweigelt, Ortega, Pinot Noir, Maréchal Foch, and Siegerrebe in 2007. With similar micro climates as Alsace, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and regionally Vernon-Shuswaps one can expect Nakusp to be an emerging gem. 🏆❤️🇨🇦🍷⛰️
Opening the doors in 2020 and continuing to surprise and excite winelovers Valley of the Springs Winery is definitely a “Must Visit!”
Great to see you Brenda and thank you for the lovely hosting. On team is hospitality and industry connoisseuse Carmen who will guide you through a splendid & passionate tasting experience. Her knowledge and care for the label and BC wines is admirable! Thank you Jade for wonderful conversation and looking after us- Meg loved sipping wine under the gazebo.
