点评:I love YSP but since the grandparents wanted to join us, one on mobility scooter and one with walking stick, our visit was very limited. Staff were helpful in giving us a paper map and advising the red dotted route. However, the paths were uneven, unclear, no signage, and didn’t get us near many sculptures. Rather, for part of it, sent us wandering through a series of dusty car parks between the backs of buildings trying to work out the least bumpy route and where we were. We didn’t see many of the sculptures.
A massive improvement would be some footpath upgrades and a set of marked routes so people could pick their length of walk and accessibility needs. Then routes could be downloadable pdfs, rather than the interactive map that doesn’t show the routes and doesn’t have enough signal to actually work.
If you’re bringing people with restricted mobility- book well ahead to borrow one of their off road scooters.
Finally- could you please let people walk through the lovely camellia house rather than just peer in past the dissected body Damien Hirst sculpture?
