约克郡雕塑公园的点评
点评：I visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park specifically to see the Marshmallow Laser Feast: Of the Oak exhibition.
Of the Oak is situated in the Chapel it's worth noting there is limited seating on benches inside. I stood and waited a while for a seat to became available. Also the opening times are 11am till 3.30pm not the full park hours.
Once seated it was mesmerising to watch the video installation and relaxing to hear the audio as the chapel has great acoustics and it all tide in nicely.
Never has a piece of art engaged me like this. I sat for a long time and would have stayed longer if I wasn't mindful of light fading as I want to see other exhibitions.
Of the Oak is absolutely stunning and was worth the trip for me, obviously art is personal and subjective but this was by far my favourite piece of the trip.
I did have a wander round and there was plenty of new interesting sculptures along with the classics I've seen many times before.
