Jorvik Viking Centre的点评
点评：Take a walk back to circa 800 when York was home to a thriving Viking population. This venue offers visitors the chance to learn about the strategic importance of York as a Viking centre of trade & the history of Viking invasions of England.
The Jorvick centre provides a detailed overview of what it was like to live as a Viking in York and the day to day processes of locating/growing food as well as customs and rituals.
There were many good talks provided by team members at the Jorvick centre who were very passionate about the subject matter.
For me, the best bit of the Jorvick centre was the tour ride through ancient York, this tour ride was full of anamatromics that’s gave a flavour of the Viking inhabitants of York.
This venue books up early so it is definitely worth planning ahead. Whilst not the on the cheaper end of the ticket price spectrum, it is definitely worth paying for.
