A brilliant experience but not geared up for hot weather

点评：The station, the staff, the train- all fantastic.
Our table for two was snug but adequate. Afternoon tea a good selection and plenty of tea and coffee.
Because of the current hot weather, we struggled with the heat in our carriage. This was further compounded by a delay of 20 mins during the journey where we were left stationary on the track awaiting an incoming steam train to pass us. Our carriage had tiny windows only open an inch. No natural breeze. One small fan attached up high but not oscillating and fixed pointing away from us. Some people had thought to bring small hand fans. If only.
My solution is- either earn people to bring fans when they book or fix more in the carriage. Other carriages had bigger windows so would have been cooler but not ours.
It did rather spoil our trip but we would try another one just not summer time.
