Disappointed with whole Christmas event
哈伍德庄园的点评
点评：We visited in December after booking for the Christmas experience including tickets to see Santa. £37 each which was poor value for money, especially after paying full for my 10 month old granddaughter and infant grandson!
11 family members attended, all of us leaving feeling extremely disappointed with the whole event. We were looking forward to the day, especially after reading positive reviews. Children expect a magical magnificent wonderland at Christmas. This did not deliver this. We have been to many experiences in the past, and I’m afraid to say this one was the least enjoyable. The entertainment before speaking to Santa was average, the decorations in the small number of rooms was lovely but didn’t give the wow factor like most stately homes during the Christmas period. Not nearly enough magical options to engage small children, a small craft room to spend 5 minutes in, elf entertainment which was frankly boring and a handful of decorations and lights outside which were not attractive or appealing for anyone to enjoy.
Santa was lovely and friendly but would be more personal having individual time with him. The toy bears given were nice but not appealing for all ages and the only option for everyone in the family groups.
The food options were sparse and expensive. Queues were long before trying to find sufficient seating indoors.
Come on Harewood, please consider children when organising what should be an amazing event at Christmas. It needs to be attractive, appealing and memorable!
Why not offer stalls and entertainment in the grounds when such an event has been organised.
The childrens park is new but some improvements need to be made which would allow children of all ages to enjoy. Some safety hazards could be identified with potential risk of injuries happening.
I have emailed info@ Harewood twice since visiting and feel disappointed that my email has not been acknowledged.
