点评:The visit comprises a talk by an enthusiastic volunteer in the very room where Fleming made the discovery of the effects of penicillin. The room is small and has been reconstructed to look like it did when Fleming worked there. Even though I was on my own I still had the talk from the volunteer. After the talk there is a short (but dated) video to watch and then a single room museum to look at. In the centre of the room there is a model of penicillin and there is a great opportunity to add the information that a women scientist was involved in this. The whole exhibition is interesting and as I claimed the stairs (there are quite a few) it was fascinating to think that the stairs bannisters I was touching had been touched by Fleming himself. The website says there is a £4 entry fee. I was told this was out of date and there is now no entry fee.
If you are remotely interested in science this is well worth a visit.

如果您对科学有点兴趣,那么这里非常值得一游。
