Arundel Castle的点评
点评：We got the full gardens and bedrooms tickets and SO glad I did. Yes, it’s pricey at about £13.50 per ticket. But the castle’s history is fascinating and fairly well-explained and there are docents around to ask questions. The motte and bailey (and the views from) and the grand bedrooms and rooms as well as the grand hall are wonderful to see: beautiful interior design, gorgeous decor and artefacts, paintings and furniture.
The tour layout is well-guided. Plenty of placards around with information as well.
The Fitzalan Chapel on the grounds is a must see as well. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL chantry chapels and sarcophagus.
The gardens are beautiful but definitely save those for after the castle. The castle is the best part.
Your ticket also leads to a discount at the museum across from the castle entrance. Worthwhile to pop into.
