Unbelievable experience with Jaipur’s karigars

点评：I had a great experience with Pashmina Tours. It was super easy to organise and customise the itinerary of meeting different karigars. On the day of I asked Sanjeev if we could start the tour three hours early. Within 20 minutes the driver Mukesh came to pick me up. The car was spotless and fully ACed (a must in the 37 degrees weather).
Sanjeev came round as a tour guide and was great at explaining the craft and translating questions. He made them and me feel totally comfortable and at-ease. He understood partly through the tour that I have a special interest in jewellery, and through his personal contacts got me a meeting with an extremely rare karigar - I will always be totally grateful for that experience.
Even though I was a solo female traveller I didn’t feel un comfortable at any points at all, though Sanjeev mentions he also offers female travellers female tour guides too if it should make them feel comfortable - a great initiative!
I’ll certainly be contacting Pashmina Tours for my next trip to India.
