点评：This was absolutely the most amazing experience with a family of Kingfishers. We spent a spectacular evening watching them from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Even in the hot weather, Steve settled us in perfectly and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He is a true professional who treated us with the utmost respect, offering excellent suggestions for camera settings, positioning, and what behaviors to look out for. We were certainly not disappointed. We enjoyed a full hour watching two beautiful juvenile kingfishers fishing right in front of us. We also caught some bonus wildlife action with pesky magpies trying to finish off an otter's crayfish supper. The kingfishers remained active on and off for the entire evening. The facilities here are top-notch. The hide is modern, clean, well laid out, and even equipped with a fan and electrical outlets. The surrounding area is lovely, featuring convenient parking, a great hotel, and a fantastic café with excellent food and drink. It was an awesome, unforgettable experience!
