A Taste of Tuscany and the Beauty of Amalfi in Two Incredible Days

点评：Our family of 5 (with 1 child and 2 teens) had incredible experiences with Tuscany Taste Tour - Maurizio - 2 customized private day trips to Tuscany and to the Amalfi Coast—both were truly memorable and very different in the best way.
Our Chianti day trip from Florence with Maurizio was easily one of the highlights of our time in Italy. He made the entire day feel personal and authentic, tailoring the experience so it never felt rushed or overly touristy. The pasta-making class took place in a beautiful former home, which added such a unique and intimate touch. Learning to make fresh pasta from scratch was fun and hands-on, and sitting down to enjoy it for lunch with wine made it even more special. The boys had so much fun and was their favourite activity of the trip.
We also stopped at a small local market with a mix of souvenir shops and a butcher, where we tried fresh beef tartare—delicious. The visit to the organic winery and olive oil farm was another standout, with excellent tastings and stunning countryside views. Maurizio’s knowledge and passion really elevated the day.
In contrast, the day trip to the Amalfi Coast (visiting Positano and Sorrento from Rome) was more fast-paced (and long but comfortable ride) but absolutely worth it. The scenery along the coast was breathtaking, with dramatic cliffs and beautiful seaside views. Maurizio made a lunch reservation for us at L’Antica Trattoria Ristorante in Sorrento and the food was exceptional.
Overall, these experiences complemented each other perfectly—one focused on food, wine, and the Tuscan countryside, and the other on iconic coastal views. Highly recommend both, especially the Chianti Tuscany day with Maurizio if you’re looking for something more personalized and authentic.
