Disappointing accommodation & cleanliness
Gulliver's Valley Theme Park的点评
点评：We stayed overnight in the Mermaid Den (Nixie) at Gulliver’s Valley, Sheffield, and sadly the experience fell short of what we expected. The accommodation was not clean — the fridge and floor had visible dirt, and the shower room had grime and worn sealant that clearly hadn’t been addressed for some time.
The night‑time entertainment area also felt neglected. The tables were sticky and looked like they hadn’t been wiped down properly, which really affected the atmosphere.The food options were another disappointment. The choice was limited, the quality wasn’t great, and the prices didn’t reflect what was being served. For a family resort, we expected better value and standards.
The one positive was that the children enjoyed the rides, which is the main reason we visited.
Upon checking out, I raised the issues, but the response was a half‑hearted “sorry, we’ll raise it”, which didn’t give much confidence that anything would change.
Overall, Gulliver’s Valley has potential, but the cleanliness, catering and customer care need significant improvement for the stay to feel worth the cost.
