点评:Things have changed here a lot since we were last here quite a few year's ago. Then there was a small car park and a Red Squirrel walk that took you past several feeding stations where you could see the squirrels. I understand now, as I read on the information boards, that feeding them is not felt to be in their best interest due to them mixing and spreading disease and also not learning to fend for themselves. That's fine.
On this visit too there was a massive new car park - a quick look around counted over 200 spaces and there's another car park to the south of the site. The number of visitors, dog-walkers and the no-feed policy mean that there are no squirrles in sight from the paths.
It is still a lovely place to walk and we went down to the beach, along to the south, and back again. Good but no squirrels.
