点评：Set off by itself in the the mountains of Jura, the Chateau is right out of a Swiss fairy tale (or The Sound of Music). We made the 2 hour trip from Zurich by private car. Built in 1595, the Chateau has been tastefully updated to the most modern standards. We stayed 3 nights in the spacious Junior Suite with large bedroom and spacious bath with shower and separate soaking tub (one of six rooms in the Chateau itself, 8 rooms are in an accessory building). Access to the second floor is by spiral staircase, which as one guest pointed out, is oriented so that when ascending one can grasp the rope with the left hand whilst carrying your weapon in the right. There are endless hiking trails in the area which in typical Swiss fashion are well marked. If you like animals you will feel right at home as the Chateau is part of a working farm replete with cows and goats. Also present are the friendly (as suits their mood) cats, Copain (pal in French) and Hazel, and farm dog Tschuppi (fluffy, who will happily lead you on a short walk up the road). But the best part of our stay was the gracious and friendly staff (managers Sydney and Timon, others) and the wonderful dining. Breakfast is a generous buffet (cooked breakfast also available) and dinner is a communal set 4-course affair with Timon explaining each farm to table course. There were 4 guests the first night, 6 the second, and a large company group of 18 was present on our final night (we had a private dining room with 2 other guests that evening). Service throughout the stay was professional and efficient.
