Port Eliot House and Gardens的点评
点评：I took my group of 41 over 60s to Port Eliot House and Gardens yesterday. Unfortunately an accident on the A38 meant we arrived an hour and a half later than planned but the staff could not have been more helpful to make sure we saw as much as possible. We had tours of the house, from the servants quarters to the state rooms. Our guide was so knowledgeable about the house and the history of it and the St German family who still call the house home. It has a 1000 year old history and the property has changed so much over those years. The tour was so enjoyed by all of us and highly recommended. So much to see on the estate, the church, the shop, the pottery, the estuary etc and a nice lunch in the Stable Yard too. Just can’t understand one of the previous reviews by Martin as that visit sounds like it was to a different place entirely.
