点评:For the Completion of our Voyage through the Pacific Coast of California, and after a very short drive through CANNERY ROW in Monterey, where we regretted the inexistance of a simple coffeeShop, some facility (other than the actual Hotel), where a drink or a vulgar coffeee could be tasted while remembering that superb dramatic essay by J. STEYNBECK named "Cannery Row", after that somehow disapointment, we drove along the seaside until HalfMoon Bay, we drove all the wild 450 horses in the engine of our "Mustang" from Monterey to the Capital of the State, where we had spent a fantastic early Spring in January 2009 (Upon the Election of Obama !).
Superb voyage !... Although not as thrilling nor with the magnificent scennery that the same "Cabrillo Highway" offers, but to the South of Monterey, until far beyhond the "Julia Pffeifer Burns State Park",
But after all those fantastic days and superb panoramas, on the 17th April, we arrived at San Francisco. The following day was reserved for the crossing of the Bay, to Oakland by a vulgar ferry, to pay homage to one other superb American Writer...
Allow me to go back in History to the old years of the "Klondike Gold Rush" :
Mr. Heinholds , the owner of "First and Last Chance Saloon", was a good friend of the father of one still "unborn writter", and he offered himself to pay for his education in an University, offer which the young already adventurer and almost journalist son of his friend respectfully declined, while becoming himself a friend of Mr Heinholds, and an usual client of the "First and Last Chance Salloon", where he met so many man and a few women searching for the gold in the Klondike.
How many stories and adventures e surelly must have heard...
That young journalist and already Author of some novels, soon became himself an Adventurer and develloped magnificent Literary skills that promoted him to one superb Author under the name of JACK LONDON !
CHEERS to him, was my salute as I savoured a bourbon straight from an Alameda' Brewery, that the young bartender suggested me on that sunny afternoon of the 18th April 2022 !
Mary ?... My Wife ?... She chose the less intense flavour of a cider.
CHEERS, EVERYONE !

STEYNBECK 的那篇精彩的戏剧性文章“Cannery Row”,在那之后莫名的失望,我们沿着海边一直开到半月湾,我们开着我们的“野马”的引擎开着所有的 450 匹野马from Monterey to the Capital of the State, where we had spent a fantastic early Spring in January 2009 (Upon the Election of Obama !).
