点评：Amazing place, nestled in farmland. Highly atmospheric, quiet, and remote, but also an emotional place. Once at the site you can enter the mound (burial chamber), which we did. It’s very tranquil inside, a good place to stop, think, and give thanks. It was evident that other visitors had placed offerings there, which I also did. After leaving, I felt somehow more at peace, which was unexpected. I believe the place affects people differently, some thinking it eerie, but I didn’t experience such a feeling. Things to note: if It’s busy, it would take some time to get inside, as the mound isn’t large, and the entrance way is narrow and low. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle. The ground is also uneven, being on farmland and with stones dotted around the site. I found the place to be wonderful. I would’ve liked to spend more time there, but we visited after a day in Beaumaris, so, time was short. It wasn’t so busy when we were there, but another couple was leaving when we arrived, and another 4 people arrived as we were leaving. I’d recommend a visit during quieter times, and later afternoon, to ensure less foot fall. There is parking nearby, and to reach the site, you take a path across from the parking and follow it around. It reminded me of a maze, as it seemed to snake around, and around, but it’s an easy enough walk, no longer than 10 minutes (once we figured out the path to take - site isn’t signposted at the path entrance). All in all, I was pleased to have finally visited and paid my respects.
