I thought going once was enough. But I can’t wait to go back.

点评：I had such a great time. I was on a solo trip spending some time alone finishing out the year just taking a break but I didn’t feel alone on the entire excursion. It was so much fun.
The guide (Thornton) was welcoming, funny, knowledgeable and just totally laid back (even when I called to say I was on the other side of house and if he thought he could grab my shoes and bookbag off a random tree I’d left everything on the beach before high tide washed them away…but I was just looking in the wrong direction and that would have meant I was stuck... but he stayed calm and turned the moment into a funny moment. I appreciate his sense of humor) . I seriously can’t wait to get back and spend the night on the island. There was something special about how it’s so untouched. I want to go back and take so many more pictures. Sunset, sunrise and golden hour. I want to beach comb and see all the spots I didn’t see before. I’d wanted to already be back but had a surprise surgery but plan on being back before it warms up. I can’t stop thinking about it. I want to sit and be still and see what animals walk by. It was so nice to not hear all the noise and sounds of civilization for a while. You could walk on the beach and just hear the waves.
