海克利尔城堡的点评
点评：Got the castle and gardens ticket for the first time slot of the day.
Took about 30 minutes to get round the castle. The most interesting thing inside for me was a newspaper article from Edward Vii abdication. Beyond that it’s just a quick look around with an A4 piece of information in each room (if you can actually get to it).
Think they need to space groups entering the house a bit more so that everyone’s not on top of each other.
The garden walk signs need to be a lot better, I got to the rose garden part which is point 4/6 and had no clue where to go from there, so ended up walking back up to the house as it was 32 degrees and I wasn’t getting lost in that heat.
Highclere Castle leaflets need to be handed to every visitor when they scan their ticket, I didn’t know about them until I saw people in line at the house with them.
