An Outstanding Educational Experience for Our Youth Group
Jersey War Tunnels - German Underground Hospital的点评
点评：We recently visited the Jersey War Tunnels as part of a youth exchange programme organised by the Gibraltar Youth Service and it was one of the highlights of our trip.
Our group was really excited to explore the tunnels, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Ned one of the staff members was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about Jersey’s wartime history. He took the time to answer questions and brought the stories to life in a way that really resonated with the young people.
After the tour, Ned kindly treated us to a visit to the archives, which was a real privilege. His insight into Jersey’s heritage and history was fascinating, and the young people thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the island’s past.
The young people also took part in the escape room, which they loved. It was a fantastic addition to the visit, encouraging teamwork while making history come alive in a fun and interactive way. Throughout the tunnels, the installations were engaging, immersive and thought-provoking, helping everyone connect with the stories of those who lived through the occupation.
