Swallow Falls的点评
点评：What an absolute rip-off.
We paid £2 per person (£8 for a family of four), assuming we were paying for access to a walk around Swallow Falls. After we'd already paid, I asked how long the walk was, only to be told, "Oh no, this isn't a walk." So all you've actually paid for is a viewpoint overlooking the waterfall.
To make matters worse, the waterfall isn't even that impressive. There are far more beautiful waterfalls and scenic spots across North Wales that you can enjoy for free. Charging people just to stand and look at this one is ridiculous.
We were there for literally a couple of minutes before turning around and leaving because there was nothing else to do. It feels completely misleading to take your money before making it clear that there isn't actually a walk.
Whoever thought charging people to look at a fairly average waterfall was a good idea seriously needs to rethink it. It's shameless, poor value for money, and left us feeling completely ripped off.
Avoid it, save your money, and spend it somewhere that actually offers an experience rather than charging you just to stand behind a barrier and look at a waterfall.
