Cash Only Con! An Absolute Joke.

点评：What a complete and utter waste of time. I am writing this review fuming, still standing at the top of the path we just trudged all the way back up.
We saw the pictures and were so excited to visit Fairy Glen. We made the walk, kids were buzzing with excitement, only to be greeted by a shabby little sign and an honesty box demanding CASH. CASH! What is this, the 1980s? Who carries cash anymore? We certainly don't. We live in a digital world, it's not difficult to get a card reader or even a QR code for payment.
Because of their prehistoric payment system, our trip ended right at the entrance. We had to turn around, tell our devastated children there were no fairies for them today, and march all the way back to the car. The entire "attraction" was the back of a "Sorry, No Entry" sign.
It's not about the money, it's the principle. It's 2025! This is just poor management and a complete lack of consideration for visitors. They've clearly made no effort to move into the modern era.
Save yourself the frustration and the pointless walk. Do not recommend this attraction at all! Unless you raid your piggy bank before you come, give Fairy Glen a very wide berth. One star only because zero isn't an option. A truly miserable experience.
