点评:Very disappointing experience travelling from Chiang Rai to Luang Prabang with this company.
The trip we booked was originally advertised as a 17-hour journey, with pickup around 11am and arrival at approximately 5am the following morning. The day before departure, the company changed the pickup time to 5am and told us we would arrive around 2am instead. While inconvenient, we accepted the changes and continued with the booking.
The biggest issue came after crossing the border into Laos. We arrived around 8:30am only to be told that our onward bus would not leave until 5pm, leaving us stranded waiting for more than 8 hours. This was never communicated beforehand.
To make matters worse, the bus ride itself took far longer than the company stated. We were told the final leg to Luang Prabang would take around 13 hours, but it actually took closer to 17 hours with no obvious reason for the extra delay.
Because of the inaccurate information provided throughout the trip, we ended up losing money on hotel services we had already paid for and spent far longer travelling than expected.
Afterwards, we contacted the company to explain the situation and ask for partial compensation, but they refused to properly address the issue or offer any fair resolution. Customer service after payment was extremely poor.
I understand delays can happen when travelling, but honest timings and clear communication are the bare minimum. Unfortunately, this experience felt disorganised and very misleading.
