点评:When planning your trip to CDMX you must make sure to stop at La Lagunilla on Sunday morning. The market is bafflingly large, we were there for hours and it just seemed to keep going infinitely, we didn’t even see all of it.
On Sundays they have an added antique section, which I believe is primarily what La Lagunilla is worth visiting for. There were swaths of older folks selling beautiful antique furniture, art, and folk decor. There was also an awesome section with a lot of young local artists and clothing brands selling their work. Other than that, there were plenty of knockoff dealers that are worth skipping.
There’s plenty of street food vendors as well, and many have their own small areas with waiters and tables. We stopped by Cochinita Pibil Amazonas and had some of the best quesadillas of our lives and huge Jamaica aguas frescas, dirt cheap.
If you’re not going on Sunday it might not be as worth going to, but I’d say it was the highlight of our trip!
