Gimmicky and vastly overpriced - nice views are the only plus

点评：I found this to be a somewhat gimmicky experience which was vastly overpriced. Other than the fact that you’re riding on a train through beautiful scenery (we did it in winter during the day) there really isn’t much else to say. Unfortunately, on the day, there were no toilets or coffee/tea-making facilities available on board as advertised, as the train’s plumbing had frozen, so that was disappointing. The train stops at a couple of tiny stations along the way but my impression is this is primarily for people to use the toilet and stretch their legs as there’s really nothing else at all in those spots worth doing or seeing. If you’re planning to book the Arctic train, I would strongly advise doing a daytime journey, as the evening or night time journeys (at least in winter) would be in total darkness and you’d see absolutely nothing of the scenery.
