Ancient Temples of the Dasa Mahavidya

点评：Magical Ancient Temple. It is on a hill [ Kamrup Hills ] and consists of cluster of temples [ over 2000 years old per Guwahati University Carbon Dating] of the Dasa Mahavidyas.
The main temple has a lot of visitors and there is a long queue of the devotees. It took us over 5 hours with the VIP Pass. Without the pass it takes over 16 to 17 hours. The Pandas are very nice and never pushy. They will meet you once your turn to enter the temple comes.
The place has lot of energy vortex and you can feel the positivity. Lot of Sadhus in the hills. In addition to the main temple, would recommend to visit the other temples as well which are very peaceful and divine and there is no queue. It can be done in the following order: Kamakhya Temple [ Goddess Kamakhya, Matangi & Kamala ], to the left of temple, go down the hill to Goddess Dhumavati, then further down to Goddess Bhairavi, climb up on the circular path to Goddess Chinnamasta, then hike up to Goddess Bagalamukhi, and then to the highest part of the hill to Goddess Bhubaneshwari and then climb down to the Goddess Kali Temple followed by Tara temple and back to the main complex. It is a lot of walking in the hills and takes about half a day to visit all of them. Note that the temples and opening and closing times. For the main temple, you should dedicate a day and for the other ones approximately half a day.
