Hinton Ampner House and Garden的点评
点评：Myself & my partner are members of The National Trust & on the 18th of December we visited Hinton Ampner with my partners Mother. We pre-booked the tickets & paid £17 for my partners Mother’s ticket.
We walked around The Christmas Pantomime exhibits on the ground floor of the house, expecting then to be able to then view the upper floor & bedrooms. Only to find out that the main staircase was roped off & that there was no access.
When booking the tickets there was nothing to advise that there would be no access to the rest of the house apart from The Christmas Pantomime on the ground floor. Tickets inform the purchaser that they will allow access to The House, The Christmas Pantomime & The Gardens.
It was quite a letdown after visiting Oxburgh Hall , Kings Lynne who also had a themed Christmas display along with access to the rest of the house.
£17 seems excessive just to view The Christmas Pantomime, which we walked around in 45 minutes, there was no info displayed regarding the rooms & what they were originally used for.
