Outstanding Visit — Don’t Miss This Castle!

点评：An excellent experience and absolutely worth the walk up to the castle!
Look for the elevator tower — there’s a ticket office at the bottom selling combined tickets for the castle, the panoramic elevator, and the air‑raid shelters. I paid €9 / £7.72 for everything and it was worth every penny.
You start with the air‑raid shelters on the first floor (see my separate review for that attraction). After finishing there, you walk back down and take the elevator up to the castle. Once you exit the elevator, follow the walkway and head up the path. At the top, turn right and go up the steps — from there you can’t go wrong, just keep heading upwards.
You’ll eventually reach the ticket checkpoint, and from there you continue into the castle. There are a few exhibitions inside, and of course the panoramic viewpoint at the top. There are toilets and vending machines available up in the castle as well.
When you come back down from the main viewpoint, head inside to the right of the ticket office for the final indoor displays and the gift shop at the end.
After exiting through the gift shop, follow the path down through a small park filled with peacocks. This brings you out onto a huge viewing platform with spectacular views over the city. From here, head back towards the castle but keep right through the shaded park area, then go down the steps — this leads you through the exit (toilets here too) and drops you out at the top of the Roman Theatre. From there, just follow the narrow streets back down into the centre.
Extra tip for visitors
If you’re coming from the city centre, I’d honestly recommend heading straight to the Roman Theatre exit gate, follow the narrow path to the right of it, climbing the steps to the top of the amphitheatre, and then following the path up to the castle. You can buy tickets at the castle itself if you’re not bothered about the air‑raid shelters (although they were very good!). Google Maps often shows a 35–40 minute walk, but in reality it’s more like 10–15 minutes. I say this because the idea of walking up in the heat nearly put me off — but I’m glad I went.
Worth every penny and a 100% MUST‑DO when visiting Cartagena!

最终你会到达检票处，随后便可进入城堡内部。城堡里有几个展览区，当然还有顶层的全景观景台。城堡内也设有洗手间和自动售货机。
从主观景台下来后，。从售票处右侧进入室内，那里有最后的展览区，尽头则是纪念品商店。
离开纪念品商店后，沿着小路前行，会经过一个栖息着孔雀的小公园。随后您会来到一个巨大的观景台，从这里可以饱览城市的壮丽景色。从这里出发，朝城堡方向返回，但要沿着有树荫遮蔽的公园区域向右走。然后沿着台阶下行——这样就能到达出口处（这里也有厕所），随后便会来到罗马剧院的顶端。从那里出发，只要沿着狭窄的街道往下走，就能回到市中心。
给游客的额外小贴士：
如果你从市中心前来，我真心建议直接前往罗马剧院的出口门，接着沿着门右侧的窄路行走，爬上台阶到达圆形剧场的顶端，再顺着小路就能抵达城堡。如果你不介意参观防空掩体（其实那些掩体相当不错哦！），可以直接在城堡处购买门票。谷歌地图上显示的步行时间通常为35至40分钟，但实际上只需10到15分钟左右。我之所以这么说，是因为在酷暑中步行的想法差点让我打退堂鼓——不过最终能去参观还是值得的。
