点评：Having been to a lot of Civil War battlefihe elds and toured other museums, this somewhat paled in comparison. There were no helpful guides, just two passive guys who seemed bored behind the admission counter near the gift store, My favorite "unique" feature was the series of touchscreen maps for each year of the Civil War, since the maps allowed browsers to select a specific geographic location by year to drill down to learn more information. Having been told by an outside tour guide that a primary reason for the Confederacy capitol being relocated to Richmond was the exisitence of the Tredegar foundary, which was key for manufacturing of steel plates for battlehships, cannons, etc., it would have been nice to see that story line explained. There was a lot of nearby construction, so perhaps this museum is a work in progress? I felt abused by the $10 per hour parking charge. I have not seen all of the other RIchmond attractions, but unless you have minimal Civil War knowledge, you should consider skipping this and doing something else if you have limited time in RIchmond. Very disappointed in the experience. Not worth $17 admission for 1 senior ticket and $20 for 2 hours of parking!
