Lowther Castle and Gardens的点评
点评：Good amount of parking nearby.
Ticket prices were a bit expensive. I’d say £2-£3 over.
The staff at the desk inside the gift shop were nice and polite.
Gift shop goods were expensive. £20 for a child’s wooden short sword!
Lots to look at and plenty of information about its history.
I could get around most places in my mobility scooter. I don’t recommend using a manual wheelchair unless you stay in the castle.
The Lost Castle cafe seating area is beautiful.
You can go into the Lost Castle and down to the ground floor level but there is one section, a ramp, that is so steep I nearly came off my scooter backwards. I will be contacting the castle about this.
The main cafe in the castle is nice but the staff don’t look happy. They looked miserable.
I also found a hair in my cake so had it replaced.
Apart from all that, I would go again if I was back in the area.
