Terrific, memorable tour worth twice the price

点评：We took the food walking tour with an exceptional guide, Ken Mayhew. The tour was beautifully paced, introduced us to a little of the history, ecology, industries, and both natural and architectural beauties of the area, and gave us ample tastes of the seafood, a sizeable lunch in all, for which the area is renowned. I loved not only his knowledgeability but quiet, gentle sense of humor, and attention to detail.
It’s not just the big things I remember about an experience: it’s things that might seem little, like learning how to eat a mussel the right way or to distinguish a male from a female lobster (although as a New Englander, I’ve eaten my fair share of mussels and accompanied my father out to pull up lobster pots) that make the experience not just memorable, but a part of personal history.
