Fascinating visit trip to James Dean Museum

点评：We searched for interesting things to do on our route through Indiana and saw the James Dean Museum in his hometown of Fairmount. Our visit was surprisingly fascinating, largely due to walking through the displays with Dorothy ( docent and world class Dean expert). Her stories were well -researched and provided detailed context that enhanced our experience with the large collection of art, possessions and artifacts in the displays. We felt very fortunate to be there on a day when Dorothy had time to walk with us through the Museum. Her passion for the life and varied talents of Jimmie Dean made the 90 minute visit memorable and inspired us to consider coming to the Dean Festival in late September. We visited Dean’s gravesite on our way out of town and the whole experience was very worthwhile. We will go back and watch his three films again for new insight.
