A perfect trek with an outstanding guide

点评：I just completed the 5 day W hike through Torres Del Paine with Vertice. I went all inclusive so they provided meals, tent, sleeping bag and guide. The quality of the camp sites were excellent, the tents were clean and well maintained. Showers were a little bit hit and miss but I had enough hits to survive. All the staff at the campsites were friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff at the Grey Glacier camp site who made me a wonderful birthday cocktail.
The outstanding component of the trip, besides the national park's views, was definitely my guide Ana. She was wonderful company, had great sense of humor and excellent knowledge of everything that lives or grows in the park. She showed what was edible from the berries and fungi and pointed out a lot of wildlife I would have missed. Being one of the older people marching around the park she was also very patient with my pace and frequency of stops for food and drink.
The national park is unbelievably beautiful and worth going that far for the experience. I hope I get the chance to go back again...
