Winter gardens and light show just absolutely fantastic!

点评：We went on December 26th for the Christmas decorations/winter lights show. It was fantastic! Very busy but doable. I would not bring a stroller - narrow paths and way too busy - do everyone a favor and leave the stroller at home. Baby wear or wait to go when less crowded. Not a good time to go if you have mobility issues or a child/family member that would get overstimulated by the crowds. If that's the case, make the arrangements to go another time. My 13 year old daughter loved it as well. We got a 3:30 timed entrance but showed up at 3:45. The family members we were meeting had later tickets (4 and 4:30.) We honestly could have just waited till they arrived and entered together - I don't think that would have been a problem. We entered and started looking then doubled back and hung out in the East Room until our party arrived. 3:30 is a great time for timed tickets - not super busy yet but by the time we got to the lights outside it was dark. However, waiting for other family members to arrive it got super busy at 4/4:30/5:00. Still, fun and beautiful. We ended up staying about 2 1/2 hours. It was rainy the night we went and that didn't really bother us. It would stop and start. I brought umbrellas but even with coats it was fine. Parking was not too hard even on a busy night. Lots of parking. We just drove around and waited till someone pulled out, we didn't have to walk too far. I would make this a yearly tradition. We drove down from Erie and it was worth it.
