Safari Masters的点评
点评：We had a great experience with Safari Masters.
First, cars are well-maintained and communication with Felix was good. This is important when you do self-drive safari because of the roads and how things work in Tanzania. We spent 9 days in Arusha, Tarangire, Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro, North and Central Serengeti.
Second, because the car is not private, Felix or the company has to process all your permits for you to then pay at the bank with cash. Keep this in mind there are many and expensive.
Third, when issues arose (they will 100%) Felix was always responsive. We had a diesel leak on our way to Serengeti and Felix arranged a mechanic visit in Seronera, an adventure on its own. We only lost half day and money for a third of the tank but after that we had no issues.
Lastly, things you should ask when you rent: draw the positions of 2WD, 4WD, high and low gear (they of course don’t work as in newer cars). Everything about permits and ATM-bank locations, schedules in gates (this makes things more complicated), and I agree locals driving safaris are very helpful don’t be afraid to ask for help.
We had the best time in these days, it was a lot of adventure and sightseeing so many animals, we only missed the Rhino but this is what happens when you don’t have a guide. We were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Safari Masters.
