点评：Karlo is absolutely the best of the best! Honestly, there are no words that can fully describe what an incredible guide Karlo is. My husband and I spent 2 full weeks with Karlo visiting Croatia and Slovenia. We totally put ourselves in his hands and left it to him to create our itinerary and it was flawless! From the fabulous accommodations he picked for us to the route we took and the places we stopped, the trip was perfect. Through his vast knowledge of the history of the land combined with his engaging personality, we had a ton of fun as we learned a lot about all the places we visited from city tours of Zagreb and Ljubljana to the famous castles such as the one at Lake Bled and the astounding natural beauty of places such as the Plitvice Lakes and Postojna Caves.
But beyond the usual and gorgeous tourist attractions in these two countries, Karlo curated for us the most unforgettable, personal experiences truffle hunting and wine tours. Our hosts were without exception, extraordinarily warm and friendly, so much so, that by the end of our visit, we hugged and all felt like family.
As if that were not enough, Karlo and his whole family went above and beyond in so many ways. His wife, Jill (the absolute sweetest person) came to our hotel to tape my knee before a hike (she’s a physical therapist), his mom baked Croatian specialties for us and Karlo stayed beyond the time he was to depart at the end of our tour to go with me to get an x-ray after I tripped (my fault) on hike on our last day!
Karlo goes above and beyond to create for you a personalized experience that can’t be beat. Don’t think about it another minute, just hire Karlo and you will be glad you did!
