Disappointing Experience
普拉斯基堡的点评
点评：We have park pass, and we have visited this park many times over the last 25 years. Unlike any other beach in Savannah area this one used to allow dogs at any time on any day of the year. Not anymore. Beach access is closed altogether. Fort is named after Polish count Casimir Pulaski who established cavalry during revolutionary war. The visitor center used to feature large portrait of him describing his background. It is gone now. We listened to ranger talk, and he did not mention that Pulaski was Polish stressing that he was American. Well, he was not. He died in the battle of Savannah before United States was born. He became an American hero posthumously after the revolution. He and Kosciusko as well as many other European nobles, like Lafayette, were helping to create America, but they were not Americans.
