点评:This is a crescent shaped beach that stretches along the Wicklow coast for about a mile.
It is located in the picturesque Bray Bay and it has Bray Head at one end and the Harbour at the other with Killiney Hill in the background.
We did visit here a few times, as well as walking the seafront Promenade during our stay in Bray from the 3rd to the 8th July.
It is predominantly a mixture pebbles, grit and some sand which is washed by the temperamental Irish Sea.
Also along the beach were some rock formations with rock pools, great for exploring and clambering over.
When we were here there was a lifeguard on duty. There were no sunloungers on the beach, people were spread out on blankets, beach mats and towels.
Running alongside the beach is the promenade, reviewed separately, with kiosks selling ice-creams drinks and food.
Strand Road is the main road and it runs parallel to beach, it is lined with lots of of shops, bars, restaurants and other seaside facilities
